Exterior Building Cleaner (Retail/Mall)

Triad Service Solutions is seeking a dependable Exterior Building Cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of exterior areas at a commercial property.

This is a hands-on position primarily responsible for outdoor cleaning using blowers, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipment. Shifts typically begin between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, depending on property and operational needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, attentive to detail, and comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean exterior building areas using blowers, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipment
• Sweep and remove trash, dirt, leaves, and debris from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and other exterior areas
• Clean truck courts, loading areas, and other assigned exterior surfaces
• Empty exterior trash receptacles, replace liners, and transport waste to designated disposal areas
• Pressure wash sidewalks, concrete, entrances, and other assigned surfaces
• Remove spills, stains, buildup, and debris from exterior surfaces
• Maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies in proper condition
• Follow established safety procedures when operating blowers, pressure washers, and other equipment
• Identify and report safety hazards, property damage, maintenance concerns, and equipment issues
• Maintain assigned exterior areas to established cleanliness and appearance standards
• Perform other exterior cleaning duties as assigned

Occasional Interior Cleaning

Employees may occasionally assist with interior custodial duties, including:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors
• Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, stairways, locker rooms, and other common areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Perform other custodial duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Employees may be required to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Push and pull trash containers, equipment, hoses, and cleaning tools
• Lift, carry, move, and position up to 40 pounds
• Safely operate blowers, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipment
• Navigate curbs, ramps, stairs, and varying indoor and outdoor surfaces
• Work around water and wet or slippery surfaces
• Perform physically demanding cleaning duties throughout the shift

Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, exterior cleaning, pressure washing, or commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required
• Dependable and punctual with consistent attendance
• Able to report to work for shifts beginning as early as 6:00 AM
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Able to follow cleaning and safety procedures
• Able to safely operate cleaning equipment or learn proper operation
• Able to take initiative and identify areas requiring attention
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
• Bilingual skills are not required

Work Environment

This position is performed primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to heat, cold, rain, wind, direct sunlight, and changing weather conditions.

Employees may also be exposed to cleaning chemicals, dust, noise, moving equipment, vehicle traffic, water, and wet or slippery surfaces. Occasional work may be performed inside the building.
