Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bridges communication between Loan Officers and Underwriting prior to submitting new files into underwriting for review.
- Reviews new files to ensure all appropriate documents needed for initial underwriting review have been received and are accurate.
- Verify the subject property address or legal description within each file is accurate.
- Validates/updates borrower information within the loan origination system.
- Orders appraisal and title commitment once directed by the Loan Officer within the expected timeframe.
- Orders the following services, as directed by the assigned Loan Processor within the expected timeframe.
- Verification of Employment
- Verifications of Rent
- Flood Certifications
- Tax Certificates
- Perform related duties as assigned by Manager.
Education and Work Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Prior Mortgage processing experience is preferred
- Excellent Communication and Organizational skills
- Required:
- Ability to foster and promote a positive work environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to manage a pipeline of incoming work to meet expected turn times
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products and ability to quickly gain proficiency in the company’s proprietary mortgage software products
