- Support, implement, promote, and enhance the district’s educational program through effective management practices.
- Participate in committee assignments as requested.
- Work toward the accomplishment of district-wide goals set by the Board of Education.
- Assume responsibility for the implementation and observance of all Board policies and regulations by the school’s staff and students.
- Serve as Triad High School Success Center Lead Administrator.
- Oversee day-to-day operations at the Success Center.
- Lead academic curriculum planning and implementation.
- Serve as SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) lead for the Success Center.
- Administer or consult on all discipline issues.
- Coordinate student admissions, retention, and graduation processes.
- Facilitate communication of program expectations to students and families.
- Actively participate in the annual application and selection process for new students.
- Collaborate with the THS Guidance Department to ensure students meet graduation requirements.
- Develop the master schedule based on student needs each year.
- Oversee and coordinate Success Center Summer School.
- Conduct evaluations for Success Center staff.
- Attend THS Leadership Team and monthly building principal meetings.
- Prepare and deliver bi-annual Board reports, including attendance at two Board meetings per year.
- Provide after-school supervision and support at district events upon request.
- Serve as District Behavioral Administrator overseeing districtwide behavioral systems.
- Function as BD (Behavioral Disorders) Program Specialist and support continuity and transition within the AIM curriculum.
- Lead SEL curriculum coordination across buildings (CAH, TMS, THS).
- Assist with related service evaluations across buildings in collaboration with support staff.
- Research and recommend behavioral programs and systems that improve academic and behavioral outcomes for students (e.g., PBIS).
- Provide professional development aligned to selected behavioral and SEL programs.
- Serve as School Support Personnel Coordinator for social workers, Assist with recruiting and retaining School Support Personnel.
- Assist building principals with evaluations of District social workers.
- Assist accurate, complete, and timely reporting as required by Illinois School Code, including Medicaid billing compliance with social workers.
- Collaborate with the Director of Student Services to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Implement Board policies related to School Support Personnel services.
- Ensure compliance across all buildings regarding threat assessment teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and deemed necessary by the Superintendent.
- Minimum five (5) years of successful teaching, special education instruction, or School Support Service experience.
- Master’s degree in Education or higher with administrative certification and/or superintendent’s endorsement.
- Possession of appropriate Illinois State Board of Education licensure.
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with students, staff, families, and community members.
