What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Veterinary Technician/Experienced Technician position at TRI STATE SPAY NEUTER and VETERINARY CLINIC?
WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCED VETERINARY ASSISTANT OR LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Full-Time Starting at $18/hour Significant raise after a successful 90-day review
At Tri-State Veterinary Clinic and Logan’s Run Rescue, we don’t just care for pets—we help families, save homeless animals, and make a real difference in our community every single day. We’re a busy, privately owned veterinary practice where medicine comes first, teamwork matters, and every member of the hospital is expected to bring their best.
This is not an entry-level position. We’re searching for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who already possesses the advanced skills this profession demands and takes genuine pride in mastering the details that allow doctors to perform at their highest level.
You should already be confident with:
Appointments and patient care
Surgery and anesthesia monitoring
Surgical assistance
Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
Laboratory diagnostics
Digital radiology
Dentistry
Client education and communication
Critical thinking and problem solving
The countless responsibilities that keep a high-quality hospital running efficiently
But technical skills are only part of what makes someone exceptional. Our doctors each practice medicine a little differently. They learn each doctor’s preferences.
They anticipate what each doctor needs. They adapt without being asked. They become the person every doctor wants beside them because they make everyone around them better. If you’re someone who takes ownership instead of waiting for direction, notices problems before they become issues, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, holds yourself to high professional standards, wants to work with people who care as much as you do…you’ll fit right in!
