Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Controller located in Ashland, KY. The Financial Controller will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial reporting processes, overseeing all accounting activities, and providing strategic financial advice to the leadership team. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with financial regulations, monitoring budgets, and performing thorough financial analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Strong Financial and Accounting expertise
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills in financial processes and interpretation
- Keen attention to detail and an understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in finance and accounting
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software systems and tools
- Experience in the construction or paving industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification is preferred
