What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing and Accounts Representative position at Tri-State Medical Group, LLC?
1. Charge Entry and claim submission for assigned clients
2. Rejection management daily for assigned clients
3. Work AR and denial management for assigned clients.
4. Processing and send patient statements to all clients in a timely manner.
5. Process and send appropriate letters to the patient on behalf of all clients in regard to overdue accounts and pre-collections notifications
6. Monitor patient accounts receivable aging for delinquent accounts and initiate soft collection calls to obtain payment or initiate payment plans
7. Review aged accounts receivable for accounts suitable for collections, notify the appropriate party and adhere to the collections process set forth by the client
8. Reporting accurate financial data to the Billing Manager for end of day, end of month, and end of year reporting
9. Adhere to and follow all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations
10. Maintain knowledge of current billing and coding requirements by attending educational webinars, seminars, and participate in continuing educational credits when available
11. Maintain knowledge of current insurance filing guidelines and billing requirements, attend educational webinars, seminars and read all material released from the payor

Qualifications
- Experience in office environments
- Proficiency in navigating multiple systems
- Basic understanding of technology and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to take accountability of your work and work independently
- Medical billing experience preferred but not required
- Professional appearance, pleasant personality and courteous manner with all clients, vendors and co-workers
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with the ability to work efficiently as a team member within the organization as well as the ability to work independently
