About Us
Tri State Gate is a custom gate, fence, and automation company serving the tri-state area. We're a family-run business with a small, close-knit office. We're looking for a focused, detail-driven person to own our data entry and keep our records clean and accurate.
The Role
This is a heads-down, focused role for someone who takes pride in accuracy and likes steady, repetitive work. You'll spend your day entering, updating, and verifying information in our systems, working through high volumes carefully and consistently. If you'd rather put your head down and get it exactly right than be on the phone all day, you'll be right at home here.
What You'll Do
- Enter and update customer, order, and account information accurately into our systems
- Review and verify data for accuracy and consistency, and catch and correct errors
- Work through high-volume entry tasks at a steady, reliable pace
- Help clean up and standardize existing records
- Keep digital files organized and up to date
- Handle related clerical tasks as needed

What We're Looking For
- Fast, accurate typing and a sharp eye for detail
- Comfortable doing focused, repetitive work for a full day without losing accuracy
- Methodical, consistent, and self-directed, you don't need someone looking over your shoulder
- Comfortable with computers and spreadsheets (Excel), and quick to learn new software
- Reliable and punctual
- Prior data entry, clerical, or administrative experience preferred
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No nights or weekends.
Compensation and Benefits
- $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience
- Health insurance with company contribution, eligible after 90 days
- 401(k) with company match, eligible after one year
