Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning duties across various areas, including floors, restrooms, lobbies, and public spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a spotless environment
• Assist with janitorial tasks by restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is well-maintained
• Support hospitality operations by ensuring guest areas are tidy and inviting, contributing to a positive guest experience
• Execute industrial cleaning procedures when necessary, including deep cleaning of large spaces or specialized equipment
• Follow established custodial protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
• Collaborate with housekeeping management or janitorial teams to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific needs promptly

Qualifications

• “Preference given to candidates with reliable transportation and ability to travel between Philadelphia and South Jersey job sites.”
• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments—hotel experience is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and cleaning products
• Experience with industrial cleaning methods and custodial responsibilities preferred
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Prior housekeeping management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required
