This is a hands-on, high-impact IT Generalist opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the full IT experience, from infrastructure to end-user support. You’ll be the go-to technical problem solver, working independently while partnering closely with leadership to keep systems secure, stable, and running at peak performance.

Position Purpose
The IT Generalist is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving the organization’s IT environment. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of systems while providing responsive technical support to end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software, including servers, workstations, printers, and network equipment
- Perform routine system maintenance such as updates, patching, backups, and monitoring to ensure system stability and security
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues independently or in coordination with internal teams and external vendors
- Provide timely, customer-focused technical support to users both onsite and remotely
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions across systems and applications
- Support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to improve operational efficiency
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, user guides, and knowledge base articles
- Deliver training and guidance to users on technology tools and IT best practices
- Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance the IT environment
- Follow all company, safety, and OSHA guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area
Education & Technical Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Prior experience in an IT Generalist or similar role with broad technical exposure
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems and common business applications, including Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user administration
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and system hardening
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft certifications
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
