Tri Star Freight System is looking for Over the Road Van/Reefer Company Drivers to join our team!
- Drive a 2025 Freightliner Cascadia
- $0.60 CPM: 200 Miles From the Terminal
- $0.75 CPM: 0-200 Miles From the Terminal
- $30 Per Hour Breakdown Pay/Local Help as Needed
- Home most weekends. Mainly servicing the Western 13 & Northern California.
- Most OTR drivers will be on the road 1-2 weeks at a time, but they have the opportunity to stay out on the road longer if preferred
OTR Van/Reefer Driver Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
- You must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest, and have great customer service skills.
- Reefer experience preferred
Benefits Package includes:
- 100% Company Paid Profit Sharing – fully vested on Year 7

- Paid $28.25 per hour for Breakdown / Maintenance
- Layover Pay is a flat rate of $150.00 (includes meals, hotel, rental car, etc.) if billable or dispatch error.
- Detention / Waiting Time - 2 hours free, then hourly rate applies if billable (Driver must let dispatcher know if going into detention and detention must be signed off)

- Discretionary Bonuses – paid at end of each year, based on performance – not guaranteed
- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus – paid in increments (60, 120, 180 and 365 days)
- $1,000 Referral Bonus – paid in increments (14, 45 and 90 days)
- Paid weekly
Job Requirements:
- Valid CDL
- A minimum of 2 years’ commercial driving experience
- Acceptable motor vehicle record (specific requirements may vary)
- Must pass drug and other pre-employment requirements
