Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative
Tri-County Veterinary Services – Anna, TX
Tri-County Veterinary Services, a well-established, two-doctor family-owned practice, is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our dedicated team.
This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys helping people, provides excellent customer service, and can remain organized, accurate, and professional in a busy veterinary environment. Our CSRs play an important role in keeping the clinic running smoothly and ensuring our clients receive excellent service from their first phone call through checkout.
About the Role
As a CSR, you will be one of the first points of contact for our clients and an important link between clients, doctors, and the veterinary team. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while following through on tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and text communications
- Schedule and confirm appointments accurately
- Communicate basic information regarding clinic services and policies
- Maintain accurate client and patient records
- Process payments and assist with routine front-desk transactions
- Manage client communications and follow-up tasks
- Coordinate information between clients, doctors, and veterinary staff
- Assist the veterinary team with administrative responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of receptionist, front desk, or comparable customer service experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through on assigned responsibilities
- Comfortable working with computers and learning veterinary software
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in a busy environment
- Veterinary experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate with strong front-desk skills and a willingness to learn
Schedule
- Full time: Approximately 35 hours
- One Saturday/month required: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- No after-hours or on-call shifts
Clinic Hours:
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 1 Saturday per month 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
