What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Advanced Veterinary Care of Plano?
Advanced Veterinary Care of Plano, a small 2 doctor animal practice located in Plano, TX is seeking a long term, full time *experienced* veterinary receptionist. Experienced means previous employment in the veterinary field as a receptionist for at least 1 year.
The ideal candidate is friendly, energetic, drug and tobacco free, able to multitask, works well with others and has excellent work ethic. Duties include typical reception duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, client communication, keeping the front presentable, entering information in paperless medical records and occasionally lending a hand to the technical staff. You must be available to work during the week for the evening shift Monday through Friday (12 pm to 6 pm) and every other Saturday (8 am to 12 pm), we also rotate some boarding responsibilities over the weekend about once a month.
Experience with Cornerstone software system is a plus.
