Job Title: Human Resources, Safety, and Purchasing Manager Department: Management
Reports to: VP of Operations
Duties/Responsibilities:
Purchasing
· Monitor Supplies
· Receive and Review Requisitions
· Quote Projects & Orders; maintain quoting spreadsheet
· Purchase Supplies
· Create Purchase Orders
· Track all Purchases
· Receive in all Purchases
· Maintain Vendor Status Report
· Obtain and log all paperwork for purchases; Receipts, Receivers, Missing paperwork
· File Claims for damages
· Process Returns
· Negotiate Pricing
· Meet with Vendors
· Find New Vendors
Safety
· Oversee the Safety Program
· Accident Investigations- Injury, Damage, Near Miss
· Coordinate Annual Inspections- NYS OSHA Consultant Program
· Daily Walk Through of Plant
· Weekly Inspections- Plant Walk through
· Monthly Safety Meeting- Safety Team
· Annual Audit Safety Policies
· Monthly Safety Trainings- Provide team with training on Mandatory OSHA policies
Human Resources
· Hiring and onboarding
· Staffing- Work with Temp Agency
· Training- Sexual Harassment & Discrimination Prevention, ADP Plan,
· Time & Attendance Tracking
· Payroll
· Benefits- Vision, Dental, Medical, 401k
Purchasing- McHone West
· Monitor Supplies

· Purchase Supplies
· Create Purchase Orders
· Track all Purchases

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to prioritize tasks
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Work well with a team
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Human Resources preferred
· Human Resources exp.
· Purchasing experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing/stationary position
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
· Repetitive motion of arms, hands, wrists
PPE:
· Safety Glasses Required on Plant Floor
· Hearing Protection required in certain areas
· Safety Toe Shoes preferred but not required
