Job Responsibilities
The High School Engagement & Outreach (HSEO) Office at Tri-County Technical College (TCTC) is seeking a part-time, temporary Student Success Coordinator to support dual enrollment, college readiness, and outreach initiatives across Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties. This position plays a key role in helping high school students explore college pathways, complete enrollment and onboarding steps, and feel supported as they transition into TCTC programs.
The ideal candidate is student-centered, organized, highly collaborative, and energized by working with teenagers, families, and school partners.
Key Responsibilities
Student Registration & Enrollment Support
- Assist students with dual enrollment applications, course registration, and onboarding steps.
- Participate in information sessions, orientation activities, and school-based enrollment events.
- Support student outreach and call campaigns as needed
Student Engagement & Outreach
- Engage directly with students in area high schools to promote dual enrollment opportunities.
- Provide front-line support, guidance, and basic advising to students regarding course options and next steps.
- Represent TCTC at school events, classroom presentations, career fairs, and other outreach activities.
Family & Community Engagement
- Serve as a resource for parents/guardians by answering questions about enrollment, program expectations, and student supports.
- Assist with outreach communications to families and school district partners.
- Participate in community or district-led events supporting awareness of TCTC programs.
District & Partner Collaboration
- Maintain strong working relationships with school counselors and other partners.
- Coordinate scheduling and event logistics with school and district personnel.
- Support HSEO staff with special projects, presentations, and documentation needs.
This is a temporary, part-time position housed in the High School Engagement & Outreach Office. This position is not eligible for benefits.
This position is anticipated to be filled in January 2026 and will conclude in March 2026.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and a student-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Comfort presenting to classrooms, student groups, families, and community partners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with high school students or in a K–12 or higher education setting.
- Familiarity with dual enrollment or student success initiatives.
- Experience in student services, advising, customer service, or outreach roles.
