Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently according to standard procedures
- Assist with setup, and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to proper lifting techniques and safety guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment for mechanical issues or malfunctions and report any concerns immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an eagerness to learn and develop technical skills
- Prior experience in excavation or a related setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment
