Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing residential carpentry projects with a focus on framing, trim work, and wood construction. Duties
- Operate power tools for woodworking and carpentry tasks safely and efficiently
- Assist with trim carpentry, including installing baseboards, crown molding, and other finishing touches
- Work with wood construction materials to build, install, and repair structures
- Perform residential carpentry tasks such as framing, siding, and interior/exterior finishing
- Contribute to frame carpentry projects by measuring, cutting, assembling, and securing framing components
- Follow safety procedures related to power tool use and general construction site safety standards
- Support team members in completing projects on time and to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Experience or familiarity with power tools used in woodworking and carpentry
- Knowledge of trim carpentry techniques and residential construction practices
- Ability to work with wood construction materials for various building needs
- Basic understanding of frame carpentry processes
- Commitment to safety, especially regarding power tool operation and general site safety protocols
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
