Position Description
The Planner is responsible for developing and implementing plans to achieve organizational goals. This role involves analyzing data, coordinating resources, and ensuring that projects or events are executed efficiently and in accordance with established timelines.
Duties/ Responsibilities
Managing sales and work orders from start to finish to ensure on time delivery dates are met
Working with production, materials, and purchasing to meet strict schedules
Determining materials shortages to schedule to ensure team success
Reviewing demand of incoming work to currently scheduled work
Working with multiple departments to confirm timelines and commitments are met
Analyzing data and make recommendations to reduce expenses while maintaining or improving quality, and delivery
Providing customer service to internal customers
Facilitating and providing support to production for material issues pertaining to materials quality, defects, shortages and changes
Level loading schedule to ensure capacity is met by work center by day
Required Skills/ Abilities
Great Communication Skills
Excellence in handling multiple tasks and work well under pressure; sense of both urgency and thoroughness
Advanced / Expert MS Excel skills, and proficient in other MS Office products
Education & Experience
3 or more years of Supply Chain or Planning Experience
Associates or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business and/or equivalent experience.
Work Environment
This is primarily a desk-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. While the role is mainly desk-based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility and customer sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to traverse office, manufacturing facility and customer sites
