Trevett Facilities Recruitment USA have partnered with an industry leader in the Facilities/Building Services sector who is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Chicago area.


Join an established FM & Maintenance business where you’ll lead new business development, build strong client relationships, and close high-value deals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and close new business opportunities
  • Build long-term relationships with clients
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Track market trends and competitor activity


Education / Experience:

  • A relevant degree or professional qualifications in business, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience in Facilities Management or Commercial Real Estate
  • Strong knowledge of FM services, outsourcing solutions, and pricing models


Aptitudes / Character:

  • Proactive & Results-Oriented, constantly seeking new business opportunities, anticipating challenges
  • Driving results to meet and exceed targets
  • Must demonstrate a strong sense of customer focus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset
