About the Position
Treston Security Services is hiring professional, observant, and dependable Unarmed Security Officers to support operations at SRO (Single Room Occupancy) properties in Riverside County. Officers will be responsible for promoting safety, enforcing property rules, monitoring resident and visitor activity, and providing exceptional customer service.
This position requires strong situational awareness, consistent patrol activity, clear communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive or challenging situations professionally and respectfully.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain a visible and proactive security presence throughout the property

Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols to ensure safety and compliance

Monitor access points and check for unauthorized individuals or activities

Respond professionally to disturbances, complaints, or safety concerns

Write accurate daily activity logs and incident reports

Assist residents, guests, and site management with safety-related needs

Communicate effectively with supervisors and law enforcement when required

Uphold site policies, community expectations, and Treston Security standards
Qualifications & Requirements

Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required)

Must be 18 years of age or older

Excellent communication, observation, and customer-service skills

Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and in varying weather

Previous residential, community housing, or SRO security experience preferred

Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and respectful demeanor
