Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation and troubleshooting efforts.
• Conduct detailed electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to identify issues swiftly and accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), building codes, and electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage teams of electricians on-site, providing guidance on electrical work execution, safety protocols, and project timelines.
• Review blueprint drafts for electrical systems design and coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate implementation.
• Perform electrical systems installation during new construction or renovation projects while adhering to blueprint specifications and building codes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all electrical work performed, including inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and compliance reports.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an industrial electrician with a proven track record in managing large-scale electrical projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial electrician tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, circuit breaker installation, and system upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local building codes related to electrical work.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical schematics for accurate system implementation.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, multimeters (voltmeters), ohmmeters, and PLC programming equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety procedures for high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety during electrical installations or repairs.
• Familiarity with renovation projects involving complex electrical system upgrades or modifications.
• Strong understanding of electrical blueprint review processes for drafting accurate wiring diagrams and schematic layouts.
