Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition, performing repairs throughout the facility, and coordinating with other teams to ensure safe and efficient maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing preventive and predictive maintenance on all assets to ensure maximum uptime.
- Maintaining and repairing all equipment to ensure maximum uptime and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Performing outside maintenance, refrigeration maintenance, and waste water maintenance as needed.
- Fabricating parts, welding (TIG), electrical, and plumbing work.
- Maintaining personal GMPs and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate and advanced knowledge of electrical controls, VFD, and PLC.
- Ability to use testing equipment such as volt meters, amp meters, lumen meters, rulers, tape measures, squares, tachometers, and gas meters.
- High school diploma and relevant work experience.
- Ability to read and follow schematics and wiring diagrams, think logically, and make adjustments to optimize objectives at minimal cost.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, and skilled in Safety applied to Chemical handling and personal protective equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
