Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead outdoor landscaping team in delivering exceptional grounds maintenance and landscape installation. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations on maintenance and installation landscape projects, ensuring high-quality work, safety compliance, and efficient crew management. Your leadership will drive team productivity while maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance activities, including gardening, pruning, and grounds upkeep to ensure pristine outdoor environments.
- Lead landscaping projects from start to finish, including planting, and skid steer operation
- Manage crew effectively by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring a positive outcome.
- Operate a skid steer loader at a high skill level for palm and tree installation as well as grading etc.
- Oversee irrigation system maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules and water conservation practices.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship across construction projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance with a focus on outdoor work environments.
- Supervising or team management experience within landscaping or construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and tree care techniques.
- Skilled in operating skid steer loader and company vehicles responsibly.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems maintenance and monitoring is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints or landscape plans for project execution.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Construction experience related to landscape plant material installation and care.
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance best practices along with landscaping techniques including gardening and ground preparation.
- CDL license and/or Bilingual a plus
