Overview
The Landscape Designer is a non-licensed designer that assists project leadership in all aspects of project design, development, and documentation through all phases of a project.
Responsibilities
- Attends office staff and scheduling meetings
- Prepares project correspondence, documentation, and presentation materials
- Assists with and attends project meetings and client presentations
- Responds to Project Manager and Client requests
- Prepares and coordinates CAD and other project documents
- Prepares presentation materials and participates in project presentations
- Prepares takeoffs and assists with cost estimation
- Assists with preparation of project specifications
- Assists with Construction Administration activities and makes site visits
- Assists in project submittal review
- Manages project files
- Prepares and organizes project materials
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture
- 1-4 years of professional design experience in private practice design firm
- Well-developed skills with AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, and Microsoft Office suite software. REVIT skills are a plus
- Advanced digital and hand rendering skills
- Contract document layout and production knowledge
