What We Are Looking For!
- Manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities for direct and indirect materials in a manufacturing environment
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Execute purchase orders, negotiate pricing, and manage supplier contracts and terms
- Support sourcing initiatives, including supplier identification, RFQs, cost analysis, and supplier onboarding
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to understand technical requirements and ensure material compatibility
- Maintain accurate purchasing data, lead times, and supplier performance metrics in SAP S/4HANA
- Resolve supply issues, shortages, delays, and quality concerns with urgency and professionalism
- Support inventory planning, safety stock strategies, and material availability for production
- Analyze spend data, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare purchasing reports, dashboards, and cost analyses using advanced Excel skills
- Assist in building scalable procurement workflows, SOPs, and documentation for a startup environment
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth inbound material flow
- Strong proficiency with SAP S/4HANA purchasing, MRP, and supplier management modules
- Experience in technical purchasing, including reading drawings, understanding specifications, and supporting engineering‑driven procurement
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Experience with sourcing, RFQs, cost analysis, and supplier negotiations
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, startup‑style environment where processes are evolving
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience working with domestic and international suppliers
- Familiarity with the grid power, high‑voltage, or heavy industrial sector is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
