Position Overview:

The Studio Lead will oversee the daily operations of the studio and ensure smooth, efficient service delivery. Reporting directly to the Franchise Owner, the Studio Manager is responsible for managing the team, financial operations, scheduling, and overall studio performance. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong technical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Studio Operations & Leadership:

  • Pre-Sale & Membership Growth: Lead and execute pre-sale strategy to build foundational membership prior to opening. Develop partnership with local wellness, retail, and community organizations. Organize and execute community outreach events and on-the-map pop-ups.
  • Manage Studio Schedule: Collaborate with the Franchise Owner to build and manage the class and staff schedule, ensuring optimal coverage and client satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Hire, coach, train, and, when necessary, part ways with staff members to maintain a high-functioning team. Foster a positive, inclusive culture where employees feel valued and empowered to grow.
  • Lead performance review processes, including goal setting, mid-year and annual evaluations, and development planning for direct reports
  • Ensure Excellent Client Experience: Oversee the overall client experience, from greeting clients to resolving concerns. Ensure that all studio operations align with our high standards of service.

Financial Oversight:

  • Payroll Management: Run payrolls for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Financial Reporting: Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports, track accounts receivable and accounts payable, and calculate and submit franchise payments.
  • Billing & Payments: Oversee studio billing processes, pay studio bills, and ensure proper handling of all financial transactions, including checking and reviewing bank accounts.

Studio Maintenance & Operations:

  • Inventory & Supplies: Manage inventory, ensure supplies are stocked, and maintain the studio’s clean, organized, and professional appearance.
  • Maintenance & Utilities: Schedule cleaning services, manage utilities, and handle any building maintenance needs.
  • Data Management: Regularly back up studio files and ensure that data is organized, accessible, and secure.

Technology & Systems:

  • Mariana Tek and BrandBot Power User: Leverage Mariana Tek and other studio management tools to run reports, manage class bookings, handle memberships, and track studio performance.1

Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:

  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement solutions that improve efficiency, enhance the client experience, and streamline team performance.
  • Make informed decisions that positively impact both short-term operations and long-term studio growth.

Teaching & Studio Support

  • Complete TREMBLE Management Training
  • Maintain understanding of programming and instructor performance standards

Qualifications:

  • Positive Attitude: Energetic, professional, and approachable creating an inviting and motivating atmosphere for both clients and staff.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear, effective communication with clients, staff, and leadership, ensuring expectations are managed and team morale stays high.
  • Strong Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions while keeping the studio running smoothly.
  • Technical Competency: Proficient with studio management systems (Mariana Tek preferred), and able to manage payroll, reports, and financial records.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing teams, providing coaching and mentorship, and fostering a positive, goal-oriented work culture.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional at multitasking and prioritizing, ensuring that all studio operations run seamlessly, from scheduling to maintenance.

 

Salary : $45,000 - $70,000
