As a Warehouse Associate you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their purchased products on time while meeting our high-quality standards.
Purpose of position: To execute all functions of the warehouse operations according to the task list steps. These duties include but are not limited to the topics listed in Essential Functions.
Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation).
- Promotes safe work conditions, surroundings, and actions.
- Inspection of incoming product.
- Receiving process including all admin.
- Filling stock bins,
- Picking, Packing, Shipping according to customer orders.
- Inventory Control (cycle counts),
- Sorting of materials, Quarantine of product, RMA process,
- Provide support for Customer Service team.
- Must be available for after hours and weekend call-outs.
- Excellent housekeeping habits.
- Routinely lift 50lbs.
- Operate crane to transport materials. (As assigned / needed)
- Operate horizontal band saw to cut steel materials. (As assigned / needed)
- Drive forklift to transport materials. (As assigned / needed)
Skills, knowledge and abilities: (these are required to enable job holder to perform the essential functions of the job).
- Must have a thorough understanding of CRC Distribution products.
- Must be able to interact cordially and productively with co-workers in a team environment and establish relationships with individuals at all levels of the company.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize.
- Must be able to proficiently read and write in English.
- Must be able to handle difficult individuals and situations.
- Must be able to make independent judgment decisions with little / no supervision.
- Must be able to see clearly with or without corrective lenses and hear clearly with or without aids.
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
- Proper use of PPE as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to learn how to safely operate a forklift and other equipment.
