Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality standards: Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures
- Inspection and Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, parts or finished products
- Quality Audits: Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance
- Team Management: Manage and lead a team providing guidance, training and performance evaluations
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance quality and efficiency
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and corrective actions
- Root Cause of Analysis: Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions to address underlying problems
- Continuous Monitoring: Implement systems for continuous monitoring of quality metrics and key performance indicators, providing regular reports
- Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure understanding and adherence to quality control standards and procedures
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and certifications
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement improvement
- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools and data analysis to identify trends, patterns and improvements
- Quality Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of quality consciousness throughout the organization
- Communication: Communicate quality objectives, issues and improvements effectively to all relevant stakeholders
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as quality management, engineering, industrial management or a related discipline is required
- At least 7 years experience in quality management, quality control or a related role within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in leading and managing a quality control team
- AS9100 Auditor experience required

The financial compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level. Additions to the compensation packing, including but not limited to paid time off, insurance benefits and 401(k) eligibility will be outlined at the time of the job offer.
