Job Description

Performs testing on production and requested samples to required test methods.

Job Type: Full time, onsite

Responsibilities

• Conform to all safety guidelines and procedures
• Perform physical testing on fabrics in accordance with ASTM, Federal, Military, AATCC, company and/or customer test methods
• Enter test data into database and clearly communicate results to required personnel
• Maintain testing equipment, performing periodic calibration checks, as required
• Maintain lab records, including storage of records and sample retains, per procedure
• Answer inquires regarding test results and factors that influence test results
• All other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two years’ experience in a quality function
• Pre-employment physical, drug screen & background check required

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations.
• The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
