What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extrusion Operator position at Trelleborg Brand?
This role will be responsible for a number of activities. These activities include but are not limited to:
Follows all Trelleborg safety and work procedures to ensure a safe, productive work environment; checks to ensure all safety guards are in place and working properly
Performs setup and operates extruder to produce product according to quality, production, and customer requirements.
Troubleshoots equipment and other production related issues.
Detects and solves problems related to product quality, aesthetics, and/or contamination.
Adjusts machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures, quantities, dimensions, and flow of materials or raw materials.
Records and maintains production data
Assists with preventive maintenance activities
Assist in training other team members
Inspects quality of equipment before production beings and continuously checks quality of the line as product is produced using required QC equipment such as but not limited to calipers, rulers (in, mm and m), and comparators.
Ensures material meets customer requirements
Completes all required paperwork and forms
