With a primary focus on full-cycle recruiting, this role also supports a broad range of HR functions — from onboarding and compliance to policy administration. Core Responsibilities
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle — from job posting through offer acceptance and onboarding — for all open positions within your assigned locations.
- Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand workforce needs.
- Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines using job boards, community organizations, and local colleges.
- Screen applications, conduct structured phone interviews, and coordinate second-step in-person interviews (if required).
- Administer and continuously improve applicant tracking system (ATS) workflows; ensure data integrity and timely disposition of all candidates.
- Champion employer branding through campus visits, career fairs, and community partnerships.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding — I-9 verification, benefits enrollment, and orientation.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS; generate reports and audits as needed to support compliance and decision-making.
- Support compliance efforts, including EEO reporting, I-9 audits, and adherence to federal, state, and local employment law.
- Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to engage authentically with candidates, employees, and senior leaders alike.
- Strong relationship-building and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Solid working knowledge of HR best practices.
- High proficiency with ATS platforms and Microsoft 365.
- Self-starter who manages competing priorities with strong organizational skills and a consistent ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable with ambiguity; able to adapt communication style and approach to varied audiences and situations.
- Commitment to confidentiality, data privacy, and professional ethics in all HR matters.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive recruiting experience, including at least 2 years managing full-cycle recruitment; an HR generalist background is a significant plus.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms required; exposure to aviation is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight stays, for recruiting events, job fairs, and multi-site HR support.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate candidate availability, events, or operational needs.
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required.
- Must successfully complete a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
