The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District (TESD) is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as an Assistant Principal at Valley Forge Middle School.
Position Summary
The Assistant Principal will support the overall administration and operation of the secondary school program. Responsibilities include instructional leadership, student services and discipline, supervision and evaluation of staff, school safety, student attendance, family and community engagement, and the implementation of district and school-wide initiatives.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff, support innovative teaching and learning practices, and foster a school climate grounded in respect, inclusion, collaboration, and high expectations.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Principal Certification or Letter of Eligibility
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience (preferably at the secondary level)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in schools or educational settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated understanding of instructional best practices and curriculum development
- Experience supporting diverse learners and inclusive educational practices
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Previous secondary administrative or leadership experience
- Experience leading equity initiatives and culturally responsive practices
- Knowledge of restorative practices and student-centered discipline approaches
- Experience in high-performing school districts or similar educational environments
- Familiarity with current trends in educational leadership, instructional technology, and secondary education
- Knowledge of middle level philosophy, adolescent development, and best practices in middle school education
