What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Start Home Visitor position at TREC- BADLANDS HEAD START?
TREC – Badlands Head Start: Prenatal to Five is seeking high energy, self-motivated and professional individual to work as an Early Childhood Home Visitor in Perkins, Harding, and Butte County. A passion for early childhood education/development, experience working successfully with a multi-disciplinary team is necessary. Strong communication skills, experience working with families of different cultures, a valid driver's license, and extensive travel are required. This individual will be working with 10-12 children ages 0-5 and their families in a home-based model by providing and linking families to comprehensive services. This individual facilitates implementation of all Head Start services and regulations for his/her caseload. This is an estimated 40 hours per week for 38 weeks per year, and part time summer hours. An AA degree in Early Childhood or Human Services, or completion of Child Development Associate (CDA) curriculum (or completion of CDA within 2 years of hire), or equivalent experience will be considered. TREC-Badlands Head Start is willing to train this individual and offers further educational opportunities paid for by TREC. Preference is given to individuals with Head Start, home visitation, or relevant experience. Computer experience is required. Applicants are subject to background checks and drug screening.
