Job Title: Systems Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with strong expertise in VMware virtualization technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise virtualization infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across systems.




Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts (6.5 ), vCenter Server, and vSAN

• Configure and administer virtual networks, storage systems, and related virtualization components

• Install, configure, and maintain VMware technologies such as vCenter Server, VMware View, and VMware Update Manager

• Manage and support disaster recovery solutions and perform migrations (vMotion, P2V, P2P, V2V)

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues within the VMware environment to ensure optimal availability

• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline VMware operations

• Integrate vCenter with Active Directory, DNS, backup systems, and other enterprise applications

• Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide effective problem resolution

Required Qualifications

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN

• Strong knowledge of virtualization concepts and infrastructure management

• Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

• Solid understanding of networking, storage, and OS administration (RHEL preferred)

• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
