Summary
TTI Allentown Residential is an ASAM 3.5 level of care facility, with a focus on re-entry and family programming. We need an individual with a strong background in substance use treatment. The current opening is for second shift. As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Treatment Trends, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients on their journey to recovery. Located in a supportive environment, this position is crucial for implementing effective therapeutic interventions and fostering a culture of healing and growth.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate medical documentation for internal and external appointments, and ensure clinical staff are made aware when a medical condition may affect a client’s care
- Coordinate medical care such as lab work, and medical tests and procedures as determined by facility requirements and/or physician/NP recommendations, including procuring necessary authorizations
- Communicate with clients in regards to their medical care, medications, and other medically related needs
- Order medications as directed by facility physician/NP, and monitor medication usage
- Support MSS in pharmacy coordination
- Complete documentation, as required by their facility
- Assist in assessing eligibility of potential clients
- Inform facility staff of medical department updates, as determined by the facility
- Respond to inquiries from staff regarding medical issues of clients and provide direction or escalate to a physician/NP, when necessary
- Assist in supervision and performance management of MSS
- Participate in weekly staff meetings
- Participate in supervision with their supervisor
- Attend trainings to meet the TTI annual requirements, as well as DDAP requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum PA LPN license
- Exposure to/ familiarity with substance use disorder and/or co-occurring disorders is preferred
