Treatment Trends Allentown Outpatient Program is looking for a fee-for-service counselor, who will take on a mix of drug & alcohol assessments, individual counseling sessions, and lead groups. Flexibility to create your own schedule in conjunction with the needs of the facility. As a Counselor at Treatment Trends, Inc., you will play a vital role in guiding individuals through their recovery journey. Located in a supportive environment, this position is essential to our mission of empowering clients by providing personalized care and resources tailored to their needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct level of care assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized service plans.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, social services, and community resources to ensure holistic care.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services within the community.
- Provide individualized therapeutic services in accordance with ASAM guidelines, and the policies and procedures of TTI.
- Maintain a caseload, up to the maximum ratio permitted by DDAP
- Prepare materials for and host individual and group sessions
- Complete documentation timely and accurately
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or higher, in an approved field.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to develop individualized service plans based on comprehensive assessments.
Recent staffing regulations for counselors expanded acceptable Bachelor’s degrees beyond ‘related’ human services such as counseling, psychology, social work or criminal justice to include anthropology, communications, nutrition, sociology, education, divinity and pastoral ministries.
