About the Role

As Director of Sales for California and Hawaii, you’ll lead the charge in delivering Treasury Wine Estates’ (TWE) Bold annual sales goals across these key markets. You’ll work closely with distributor partners and internal teams to drive volume, value, and distribution growth. This role is pivotal in shaping market strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring executional excellence across channels. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where strategic thinking, relationship-building, and a passion for wine come together to create lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a high-performing sales team to achieve KPIs
  • Manage distributor relationships, performance, and pricing/program strategies
  • Develop and execute market plans by channel and account, allocating resources effectively
  • Use data to identify opportunities, forecast business, and close gaps to plan
  • Ensure compliance with national account programs and manage market budgets
  • Monitor competitor activity and participate in sales initiatives across markets


About You

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • You bring 5 years of outside sales experience in the wine or alcohol beverage industry
  • You’ve managed chain accounts and led distributor sales initiatives
  • You have strong forecasting, analytical, and organizational skills
  • You’re proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with pricing programs is a plus
  • You hold a valid driver’s license and can lift up to 45 lbs
  • You’re open to significant travel (up to 40%) across the territory

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $132,000 to $150,000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
