Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum & Instruction
Develop and implement daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood developmental milestones, including social-emotional learning, early literacy, math readiness, fine/gross motor skills, and creative expression.
Incorporate structured and play-based learning that promotes curiosity, independence, and exploration.
Adapt curriculum to meet individual needs and learning styles of toddlers and preschoolers.
Classroom Management
Maintain a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom culture.
Use age-appropriate guidance and redirection strategies to support behavior and social development.
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom with age-appropriate materials.
Leadership & Supervision
Mentor and support assistant teachers and classroom aides through modeling, delegation, and feedback.
Coordinate classroom duties, daily routines, and child supervision schedules.
Family Communication
Build trusting relationships with families through daily communication, parent-teacher conferences, and developmental updates.
Support smooth transitions for children entering or graduating from the toddler or preschool program.
Compliance & Safety
Follow all licensing requirements, health/safety protocols, and center policies.
Conduct regular safety checks and respond appropriately to injuries or emergencies.
Document incidents, attendance, and developmental progress accurately.

Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field
Minimum of 2 years experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting.
All Clearances , mandated reporters training, health and safety trainings,
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Strong understanding of toddler and preschool development, classroom structure, and behavior guidance.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and actively engage with young children.

Full-time, Monday through Friday.
