Job Overview
We are seeking dependable, vigilant Lifeguards to help ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for guests at our outdoor swimming pool. Lifeguards play a vital role in ensuring swimmer safety, enforcing pool rules, and delivering friendly guest service.
Lifeguard certification is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities
Pool Safety & Supervision
- Actively monitor swimmers and pool activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Enforce all pool rules and safety regulations in a professional, friendly manner
- Assist swimmers as needed, including weak or distressed swimmers
Emergency Response
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations
- Perform water rescues, first aid, and CPR when necessary
- Document and report incidents to the Activities Manager and appropriate personnel
Guest Interaction
- Greet guests and provide clear safety instructions
- Answer guest questions and promote a welcoming, family-friendly environment
Pool Area Maintenance
- Conduct routine safety and cleanliness checks of the pool deck and seating areas
- Inspect and maintain lifeguard equipment (rescue tubes, backboards, first aid supplies)
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Strong swimming ability required
- Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certification preferred but not required
- Willingness to complete the provided lifeguard training and certification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of performing rescues and light to moderate lifting
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
