Responsibilities
- Supervise pool patrons and ensure a safe aquatic environment
- Recognize and eliminate hazardous conditions or behaviors
- Respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations
- Enforce all facility rules and regulations
- Promote a professional, friendly, and safety‑focused atmosphere
- Attend required trainings, certifications, and staff meetings
- Assist with daily facility upkeep (bathrooms, trash, pool vacuuming)
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Assist with aquatic programs (swim lessons, water exercise, recreation activities)
- Help with concession operations, recycling, and organizing
- Participate in pool maintenance projects
- Follow procedures for handling money
- Use City equipment properly and responsibly
- Assist with record keeping and pool office organization
- Work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled
- Perform other duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired
- Current Lifeguard certification
Skills & Abilities
- Strong water safety and lifesaving skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and adults
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of pool policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: From $15.25 per hour
