Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Audit, balance, post and report on hotel operations ensuring accuracy of the hotels financial and accounting records
- Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner promptly handling requests and complaints
- Make reservations, check-in and check-out hotel guests and process payments
- Answer phones, maintain a cash drawer, operate office equipment and other related tasks
Knowledge and Certification
Required
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 2-year degree in Accounting or related field
Required:
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Above average math skills
- Proven to accurately type

- Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene

- Must be able to sit for long periods of time with occasional amounts of walking and standing

- Must have the ability to independently lift up to 5 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions

- Work is performed in the Hotel but may require going onto the gaming floor, which has flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
- Must be willing to work overnights, weekends and holidays
