REPORTS TO: Den Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives beverage orders from guest and wait staff, prepares drinks as ordered, take guest food orders, close out all guest checks for servers as well as bar guest, responsible for bank, trained in alcohol awareness and handles guest complaints and properly maintains control of the bar at all times.
- Receives cash bank at beginning of shift, operates cash register system, bears responsibility for all cash, cash receipts, comp tickets, and provides guest with proper change as required.
- Receives beverage orders from servers and guest alike, prepares drinks with proper proportions of alcohol and other ingredients.
- Observes all rules for order taking and has thorough knowledge of cocktails, beer, wines, pricing and cash comp procedures.
- Maintains a safe, sanitary, and organized work station throughout the shift.
- Observant and aware of guest and servers needs at all times.
- Observes proper alcohol awareness rules when serving the guest and servers.
- Maintains adequate stock to properly serve guest, arranges bottles and glasses to efficiently operate bar while also providing an attractive display.
- Reconciles guest checks, cash receipts, comp charge tickets, and room charges with total sales to verify accuracy of all transactions, any variance will result in a notice of exception
- Always remember to follow the tip out policies
- Work as part of the team with your fellow Crewmembers
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent guest service experience. Friendly and polite
- Alcohol Awareness
- Must be 21 years of age
- Excellent job performance
- Able to wear the Treasure Bay cocktail uniform
LICENSE / PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand and be upwardly mobile for periods of up to four hours in length. Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift bus pans and trays frequently weighing up to 25 pounds. The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills.
