What are the responsibilities and job description for the Haunted Attraction Operations Staff - Kelso/Longview position at Treadway Events & Entertainment LLC?
REPORTS TO: Show Manager
SUMMARY: We are searching for customer-focused operational support staff to assist with the following positions at Cinema of Horrors Haunted House in Kelso Washington at the old Three Rivers Cinema.
The attraction is open on:
September 25-26th, October 2-3rd, 9-10th, 16-18th, 23-25th, 30-31st & Nov 1st, 2026
**Some positions require more or less hours**
- Box Office Staff (scanning in tickets, ushering and instructing guests, answering questions, ensuring event entry lines move efficiently)
- Event Operations Staff (answering questions, directing guests, checking in on attendees, taking tickets and explaining rules at the event entry doors , etc)
- Merchandise & Concessions Sales Associates (handing cash sales, ringing up items on tablet-based POS systems, updating inventory, folding items, bagging, issuing receipts, preparing food items, upselling, maintaining the cleanliness of prep surfaces, tables, and interior, and more.)
- Backstage/Runner (Relieving team members for breaks, keeping the lobby clean, fixing props/sets as needed, assisting with pre-event set up, assisting with closing procedures, etc)
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
- Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc) for a short distance
- Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
- Top-notch verbal communication skills
- Interest in Halloween and haunted attractions encouraged
- Creative, tenacious, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Required age is 18
- Reliable transportation to/from event location
- Full availability for all event days – No exceptions.
