In our pursuit of becoming the most respected and premier motorsports engineering organization in the world, we are looking for highly motivated applicants for our available positions TRD is looking for a highly motivated Engineer to support our Engine Development Department. Key Responsibilities: Performs thorough engine performance and durability testing to evaluate development items, which includes test methods, data analysis, and detailed reporting in a timely fashion. This will include end of day summaries of testing status as well as test results. Monitors dyno calendar daily to stay abreast of upcoming assigned tests and schedules. Communicates test plan prior to test dates to allow Dyno group to be prepared for efficient use of testing resources. Works closely with Dyno Group to coordinate dyno support and development test support when assigned to a particular test. Expected to contribute to the Engine Management Development Team, focusing on Performance, Durability, Drivability, and Fuel economy. Work with other departments on development of new ideas, testing, and implementation. A successful candidate will have: BS in Mechanical Engineering or relative work experience. At least 2 years of engine management software function and tuning experience. A strong understanding of the function of internal combustion engines. Engineering Skills: Good understanding of basic engineering processes and systems (for design, development, testing and manufacturing). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written / Teams, etc. Self-motivated with strong work ethic. Ability to meet deadlines. Proficient experience with Excel, Word, Teams, Power Point. Working knowledge of engine management software. Proficient experience with dynamometer testing. Proficient use of calibration tools. Understanding and function of combustion analysis software and hardware (Indimaster/Concerto). A successful candidate may have: At least 2 years of automotive racing on a support level.
