Our Client, a real estate private equity fund manager located in midtown Manhattan, is looking to hire an Associate to support the activities of its real estate private equity funds. Ideally, candidates would have 2-5 years of experience in the industry.
The client is looking to grow its team through the addition of a dedicated Associate reporting to the Investor Relations departments. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support recurring operational processes. This role plays a critical part in information management, process management and support, key tracking and production of investor materials.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with sensitive information, managing recurring deadlines and processes, coordinating with multiple functions and team members, and contributing to the continuous improvement of operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Information Management
- Maintain and update investor contact lists and CRM records.
- Execute quarterly update of organizational information (e.g., web page, bios)
Recurring Process Management and Support:
- Assist with tracking and managing the quarterly investor reporting calendar/process
- Support preparation and submission of regulatory filings
- Administer the marketing-material review workflow (intake, checklist review, routing, filing)
- Assist with maintaining entity records and governance documentation
- Support investor onboarding processes, including KYC/AML documentation collection and status tracking
- Schedule and support recurring compliance activities, including:
- Annual policy reviews and attestations
- Employee training and Code of Ethics acknowledgments
Tracking:
- Update master tracker of due diligence responses
- Maintain investor request tracker
- Run standard investor tracking reports from CRM system
- Track and ensure timely updates to compliance logs, risk registers, and internal controls
Materials Production:
- Populate account summary template to customize standard materials for investor meetings
- Prepare responses to standard and recurring investor requests
Other:
- Support ad hoc projects
- Assist with monitoring regulatory developments and update CCO
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field
- 2 years in operations, investor relations, legal support, or compliance administration
- Excellent organization and time-management; comfort with repetitive, detail-heavy tasks
- High accuracy in recurring deliverables; strong written communication for templates/notes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proven discretion handling confidential and sensitive information
The following are helpful:
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamo, Juniper Square, Backstop)
- Familiarity with regulatory filings in the financial services industry (e.g., SEC, FCA, ESMA)
- Knowledge of KYC/AML standards and investor onboarding workflows
- Basic understanding of fund structures (LPs, GPs, SPVs, etc.) and entity management
Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
