What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Manager, Structural Engineering Group position at TRC Worldwide Engineering Inc?
TRC Worldwide Engineering is currently seeking a licensed Structural Engineering Manager in Plantation, FL.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Design and day to day management of complex projects on a wide variety of building types such as hospitals, higher education, public sector buildings and commercial office buildings
- Act as lead engineer providing guidance, training, and mentorship to staff
- Construction administration of projects including processing submittals and site inspections
- Assure all assigned deadlines are met
- Assure clients are satisfied and all assigned deadlines are met
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. Civil Engineering
- M.S. Structural Engineering
- P.E. license
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in design of multi-story buildings at structural consulting firm(s)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in design using engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, and EnerCalc.
- Experience in Autocad and Revit drafting is a plus
