Description
The Engineering Assistant is an entry-level support role that assists the engineering and inspection team with basic field, documentation, and administrative tasks. This position is intended for a junior team member who is beginning to gain practical exposure to engineering, site inspections, and project support activities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the engineering team during site visits and inspection activities.
- Take photographs and document basic field observations.
- Support the organization of notes, images, and project-related records.
- Help prepare draft reports, summaries, and other basic project documents.
- Assist with tracking pending items and follow-up actions related to inspections.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical project files, as needed.
- Support basic coordination and administrative tasks related to business as general.
- Comply with company procedures and all site safety requirements.
- Strict adherence to the company's internal guidelines, including procedures, mandatory guides, and best practices
Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently completed studies in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar tools.
- Availability to travel locally to job sites, as needed.
- Ability to comply with company procedures, internal guidelines, mandatory guides, and best practices.
- Ability to comply with site safety requirements and use required PPE.
