TRC's client has an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join their team!
This opportunity is with a leading Data Center Solutions company experiencing rapid growth!
The Senior Accountant will own the financials or large key accounts handling all financials for that client! Responsibilities will include reconciliations, financial statements and communications with client, closing the books, overall client P&L, etc.
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, while maintaining compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff to foster a high-performing team.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations, and manage internal and external audits.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Establish and enforce internal controls to maintain financial integrity and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with leadership to align accounting practices with organizational goals and recommend cost-saving strategies.
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems and processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Serve as a liaison with executive leadership, external auditors, and consultants to ensure effective communication and compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years accounting experience required
- Bachelor's in accounting required
- CPA track preferred
- Experience with US-GAAP & IFRS Accounting Standards.
- Construction Industry Experience
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
