The Opportunity:

Our client is a growing manufacturer of automated equipment used across multiple industrial sectors. They are seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to bridge the gap between mechanical design and electrical/control systems. This role will be hands-on, working across product development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electromechanical systems, integrating mechanical components with electrical controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, controls, and manufacturing)
• Support system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of equipment
• Interpret and create schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Work with PLCs, sensors, motors, and automation components
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives on existing equipment and processes
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and field support when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3–7 years of electromechanical engineering experience
• Strong understanding of both mechanical systems and electrical controls
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, motors, and industrial automation systems
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems across disciplines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Nice to Have:

• Experience in manufacturing or automated equipment environments
• Exposure to robotics or motion control systems
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles
