- Prospect, pitch, and close new shipping opportunities with both new and existing customers
- Build, manage, and grow a profitable book of business with tailored logistics solutions
- Negotiate rates, secure carriers, and dispatch loads across modes (FTL, LTL, expedited, intermodal, and project freight)
- Monitor shipments end-to-end, providing proactive status updates and clear communication
- Document all activity and communication in the TMS with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate closely with our operations team to resolve issues and protect customer relationships
- Consistently hit sales, margin, and call-volume targets in a fast-paced environment
- Represent TRAXS with integrity, urgency, and a customer-first mindset in every interaction
- 3–5 years of experience in freight brokerage/3PL sales OR B2B sales with a track record of growing a book of business
- Proven closer with strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Experience working in a TMS or CRM and managing high transaction volume without dropping details
- Comfort juggling high call volumes, shifting priorities, and time-sensitive freight
- Customer-focused, dependable, and solutions-driven; you stay calm when things get complicated
- Independent, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to collaborate tightly with ops and leadership
- Leadership potential or experience - whether you’ve led a team or acted as a go-to mentor for others
- A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude that fits an early-stage, high-growth environment
