TraxNYC is building out a live-selling and content division around our TikTok/eBay Live jewelry auctions — and we need a creative, technically sharp production lead to own how it all looks and sounds. This role starts with a blank slate: you'll design the studio, dial in the lighting and camera setup, and make the call on what "TraxNYC Live" looks like on screen. From there, you'll grow that footprint — pulling and editing content from our lives to build our presence on social media, with an eye toward eventually running "TraxNYC Live" as its own brand across Instagram, YouTube, and beyond.

Responsibilities
Studio & Equipment
- Set up and manage all video/audio equipment for live shows (cameras, lighting, microphones)
- Design and maintain a dedicated studio space — backdrop, lighting rig, set design, camera angles — optimized for how jewelry photographs and films
- Continuously improve video and audio quality — lighting suited for showing jewelry detail, sparkle, and clarity without glare; clean audio with minimal echo or background noise
- Research and recommend equipment upgrades as the operation scales
- Troubleshoot technical issues during live shows and maintain backup plans for outages/failures
Content & Editing
- Record and pull clips from live shows for use on social media
- Edit clips into short-form content (hooks, captions, pacing) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Create thumbnails/cover images for posted content
- Build and manage a content posting calendar across platforms
Channel Growth
- Set up and manage new branded social accounts (e.g., "TraxNYCLive" on Instagram, YouTube) as the operation grows
- Develop platform-specific content strategy (short-form vs. long-form, Stories vs. Reels vs. Shorts)
- Grow followers/subscribers and drive traffic back to live sales on TikTok/eBay
- Manage comments/DMs and community engagement on new channels
- Track and report on content performance (views, watch time, follower growth, click-through to lives)
- Explore longer-form content over time (live replays, behind-the-scenes, educational content)
Qualifications
- Experience with video production — filming, lighting, audio setup
- Strong eye for visual presentation and staging — how product, backdrop, and lighting come together on camera
- Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar)
- Understanding of social media content strategy and platform differences
- Self-starter who can manage equipment, scheduling, and content pipeline independently
- Flexible availability, including evenings/weekends to support live show production schedules
Nice to Have
- Experience growing a social media account from scratch
- Experience with live-streaming setups specifically
- Background in visual merchandising, photography, or set design
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop) for overlays/thumbnails
- Interest or background in jewelry or luxury content
